How Amango works
A board that connects people who want to send something, or want someone to buy something for them, with travellers on the same route. You agree directly; Amango never handles the money or the items.
- 1Post your requestFrom where to where, the items (up to 10), the reward you offer and how you'll pay. Your number is optional: shown to members, to everyone, or not at all, as you choose.
- 2Message travellers on AmangoTravellers message you on Amango, or you browse trips and write first. Ask about the date, the space and how they'll deliver. Tap “Alert me” to get an email when a trip is posted on your route.
- 3Hand the items over openMeet, open everything together and take photos. Never a closed parcel.
- 4It arrives, then rate each otherThe recipient confirms and sends a photo. Pay as agreed, then mark the post “Delivered” and choose who you dealt with, so you can rate each other.

Common questions
Do I need an account to contact someone?
Not to browse. To message people on Amango you need a free account. Contact numbers show as the poster chooses: to members only (most common), to everyone, or not at all.
Does Amango hold the money for “Buy for me”?
No. No money goes through Amango. Either you order the item to the traveller's address and pay the shop yourself, or you pay the traveller at handover. Never send money to anyone in advance, including anyone claiming to be Amango.
What does the “Verified” badge mean?
That Amango's team saw the member's ID and photo and checked they belong to them. It doesn't mean we vouch for them, so keep following the handover rules. ID photos are deleted right after the check.
How do I hear about new posts on my route?
Search your route on the board and tap “Alert me”. You'll get an email for each new matching post (at most 3 a day), and you can delete alerts in Account.
Who sets the price?
The poster writes the amount and how it's paid: at pickup, on delivery, half and half, or another way. You can negotiate.
Why must items be open?
Because the traveller is legally responsible for everything in their bag. A closed parcel could hide something banned.
What if the item doesn't arrive?
Report the post with the “Report” button and keep the chat and photos. We review reports and suspend accounts that break the rules, but we don't pay compensation.
How long does my post stay up?
Until its date (3 months at most), or until you close it. You can reopen it from My posts.
