What we keep
Your first name, email, city, the contact methods you choose, your posts and their photos, your messages on Amango, ratings, and the route alerts you set. Your password is stored encrypted and nobody can read it.
What others see
Your first name, city and your posts. Contact details show according to your choice for each post: to everyone, to signed-in members only, or not at all (messages only). Your login email is never shown.
Messages
Messages between you and another member are read only by the two of you. Amango's team reads a conversation only if one of you reports it, to review the report. Messages are stored on protected servers in the EU, but they are not end-to-end encrypted like WhatsApp. Conversations are deleted automatically 6 months after the post's date, and right away when you delete your account. You can block or report anyone from inside a conversation.
ID verification
If you ask for ID verification, only Amango's team sees your document photo and selfie. The photos are stored encrypted and deleted right after the check; we keep only that you're verified and the date. You may cover the document number. Verification is optional.
Deleting
You can delete any post, or your whole account from “Account”. Deleting is permanent.
Terms
Amango is a notice board. Agreements, payment and handover are between users, and everyone is responsible for what they send or carry. We remove posts and suspend accounts that break the rules.
